INGREDIENTS
  • 1/4 lb. butter, no sustitutes
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c. Bacardi dark rum
DIRECTIONS
  1. melt butter in saucepan.
  2. Stir in water & sugar.
  3. boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in rum.
RECIPE BACKSTORY
Decorate with whole maraschino cherries and border of sugar frosting or whipped cream. Serve with seedless green grapes dusted with powderd sugar.
