Golden Granola with Mixed Fruit

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 ½ cups quick or old-fashioned uncooked oats
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • ¼ cup firm packed light brownsugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven at 350. Combine oats and honey set aside. Melt margarine. Add brown sugar and vanilla to the magarine.
  2. Mix together. Spread evenly on a cookie sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown, stirring after 10 minutes.
  3. Cool completely
  4. Add-ins 1 cup of your favorite dried fruit, nuts, chocolate.
  5. This granola is great as a snack or as a topping. Serve over cooked oatmeal, ice cream or y ogurt.
  6. Store in tightly covered container
