Grandma's Hot Milk Sponge Cake

- 2 Eggs
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- Pinch Salt
- 1/2 cup boiling hot milk
- 1 Tsp butter (add to boiling milk)
- 1 Tsp vanilla
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven 350 degrees
- Beat eggs on high for 5 minutes
- Add sugar and beat an additional 4 minutes
- Sift Flour salt and baking powder.
- Mix Flour mix into egg mix
- Add hot milk and lastly the vanilla.
- Mix and pour into a single layer 8-9" greased cake pan
- Bake for 25-35 minutes
- The top will spring back to the touch when done, or a toothpick will come out clean.
