Grandma’s Oil-Butter Cookies
INGREDIENTS
  • 5 C flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 C butter
  • 1/2 C oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • pinch mace
  • pinch cinnamon
  • 1-1/2 C sugar (heaping)
  • 3/8 C water
  • 4-1/2 tsp baking powder
DIRECTIONS
  1. Sift dry ingredients 3 times.
  2. Soften oil and butter.
  3. Add sugar.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Then add eggs one at a time.
  6. Add all the dry ingredients.
  7. Then add the water.
  8. Roll out on a floured board.
  9. Cut with cookie cutter.
  10. Bake on a buttered sheet in oven at 350 degrees.
