Grape Juicy Pie
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 cups grape juice
  • 1 egg (slightly beaten)
  • 2 tblsp. butter
  • 1 1/2 tblsp lemon juice
  • 1 pie shell (BAKED)
  • Whipped Cream (I prefer homemade)
  1. Mix sugar and cornstarch in sauce pan.
  2. Stir in grape juice.
  3. Cook on medium heat, stiring until thick and boiling, boiling only 1 minute, no longer.
  4. Remove from heat, stir mixture into beaten eggs. Return to heat, add butter and lemon juice, and boil for 1 more minute only, no longer.
  5. Pour into BAKED pie shell and cool, serve with whipped cream, and ENJOY
