Green Bean Bundles

- 1-1 1/2 lb fresh green beans
- 6-8 thin slices of bacon
- 1/4C butter
- 3/4C firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp garlic powder
DIRECTIONS
- Wash and cut off the stem end of green beans.
- Drop in boiling, salted water for 3 to 5 minutes just until tender but still crisp.
- Drain and let stand in ice water for while making bundles.
- Take 7-10 green beans with cut ends all on one end, tie with a slice of bacon in the center, letting bacon lay over green beans lengthwise.
- Bring butter, brown sugar and garlic powder to a boil. Pour over green bean bundles.
- Bake at 350F for 20 to 30 minutes.
