Greenbean Casserole
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 lg bag frozen greenbeans (french cut) thawed
  • 2 tbl butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 can cream mushroom soup
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup white cheddar cheese
  • 1 can fried onion rings (durkee)
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat to 350
  2. Melt butter and cook onions 2 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook until golden. Stir in soup and cream. Bring to a simmer, stir in cheddar cheese, season with salt & pepper. Stir in green beans & toss to coat. Transfer to *buttered* caserole. Top with fried onions & bake 30 minutes or until bubbling.
