Greenbean Casserole
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lg bag frozen greenbeans (french cut) thawed
- 2 tbl butter
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 can cream mushroom soup
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup white cheddar cheese
- 1 can fried onion rings (durkee)
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat to 350
- Melt butter and cook onions 2 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook until golden. Stir in soup and cream. Bring to a simmer, stir in cheddar cheese, season with salt & pepper. Stir in green beans & toss to coat. Transfer to *buttered* caserole. Top with fried onions & bake 30 minutes or until bubbling.
