Gumdrop Garden Cones

  • 1 (18.25 oz.) package Pillsbury Moist Supreme Devil's Food Premium Cake Mix
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup Crisco oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 20-22 flat bottom cake ice cream cones
  • 1 (16 oz.) can Pillsbury Creamy Supreme Chocolate Fudge Frosting
  • Green Sprinkles
  • Gumdrops in assorted colors and sizes
  • Green toothpicks
  • Green spearmint leaf gumdrops
DIRECTIONS
  1. PRepare cake batter as directed.
  2. Fill cones 2/3 full with batter;
  3. place ice cream cones in muffin cups or on a baking pan with sides.
  4. bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes or until cake springs back when touched lightly in center.
  5. Cool completely.
  6. Frost cupcakes and immediately top with green sprinkles.
  7. To make flowers, flatten gumdrops and cut around edges to form petals.
  8. Cut the rounded tip from another gumdrop; place in center of flower, using additional frosting to hold in place.
  9. Decorate cupcakes using toothpicks for stems and spearmint gumdrops for leaves.
