Ham and Swiss Sliders
  • 1 pkg Hawaiian Rolls
  • 1 pkg Honey Ham
  • 1 pkg Swiss Cheese Slices
  • Mustard Poppy Seed Sauce:
  • 1 Tbsp Poppy Seeds
  • 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Mustard
  • 1/2 cup Butter, Melted
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  1. Oven Temperature: 350°F
  2. *Cut rolls in half and spread with mustard; cut swiss slice in half and place first half on roll followed by 1-2 slices of ham and other half of cheese
  3. *Place sandwiches in oven safe pan
  4. *Melt butter, add rest of sauce ingredients and mix well
  5. *Pour sauce over rolls (probably won't use all the sauce, depending on how many sandwiches you have - don't want them to be swimming in sauce, just light covering over tops
  6. *Let rolls set until butter has started to set a bit; cover with foil and bake for 12-15 minutes
  7. Recipe Tips
  8. *Rolls can be made a day ahead and stored in refrigerator until ready to bake
  9. *If you are an onion fan, substitute onion powder for minced fresh onion, or try sautéed onions in the sandwich
  10. *Can also be made omitting the poppy seeds (or without sauce at all)
  11. *If you want to crispy it up and brown the tops, you can take off foil after baking and leave in oven another 5-10 minutes
  12. *If you like it spicy, try adding fresh thinly sliced jalapenos for extra goodness
  13. *Try other meats and cheeses for variety
