Hamburger Meat roll

- 1 lb hamburger meat - browned and fat drained
- 2 t grated ginger
- 1 t soy sauce
- 1/4 c caramelized onion
- 1 t salt
- 1 T roasted garlic
- 1 egg
- 2 cups cooked brown rice
- 1 package nori sheets
- cornstarch
- canola oil for frying
DIRECTIONS
- Mix together hamburger, ginger, soy sauce, onion, salt, garlic, and egg.
- Take nori and sprinkle cornstarch very thinly on each sheet
- Spread meat mixture very thinly on each sheet, then spread very thin layer of rice, leaving 1" empty
- Roll up each one like sushi, and seal with water
- Heat oil to 350 degrees, gently put roll in hot oil and fry, rolling to cook evenly, about 5 minutes per roll
- Remove from oil and drain on cooling rack.
- Cut into 1" pieces to serve
