Hand pies

  • 1 box pie crust
  • 1 TBSP pie filling
  • 1 TSP cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 c powdered sugar
  • 1/4 c milk
  • 1 egg white beaten
  1. 1. preheat oven to 425 line baking sheets with parchment paper
  2. 2. roll out pie crust until smooth even cut circles out of dough as many as you can
  3. 3. using a 1 tbsp drop each pie filling into the center of each circle brush the edges of the circle w drops of water then fold in half pinch the edges completely poke hand pie with fork
  4. 4. beat egg white in bowl until frothy brush
  5. 5. bake on parchment paper lined baking sheet for 15 minutes
  6. 6.while the pies are cooking whisk the powdered sugar and water together
  7. 7. remove coked pies from baking sheet and drop into glaze coating the pies completely
  8. 8. return them to the baking sheets and let sit for 5 minutes
