Hand pies

  • 1 box pie crust
  • 1 tbsp pie filling (per pie)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 2 1/2 c powder sugar
  • 1/4 c milk
  • 1 egg beaten
  1. 1. preheat oven to 425; line baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. 2. roll out pie crust until smooth and even; cut circles out of dough (as many as you can)
  3. 3.using a tbsp drop each pie filling into the center of each circle; brush edges with water then fold and pinch edges together. Poke with fork
  4. 4. beat egg white in a small bowl with fork; brush over pies
  5. 5.bake on parchment paper for 15 min
  6. 6.while pies are baking mixing together the powdered sugar and milk
  7. 7.remove cooked pies from the oven; drop them into the glaze
  8. 8. return to parchment paper and let it set for 5 min
