Hawaiian Bacon Kabobs
  • Servings: 2
  • 1 11-ounce can mandarin orange sections
  • 1 8 1/4-ounce can pineapple chunks (juice pack)
  • 1 apple, cut into chunks
  • 6 slices Canadian-style bacon
  1. Drain the mandarin oranges and pineapple chunks, reserving juice.
  2. Roll up bacon slices.
  3. Alternately thread bacon, oranges, apples, and pineapple on two 10-inch skewers.
  4. Cover and chill the extra fruit.
  5. Place kabobs in a baking dish.
  6. Pour reserved fruit juice over kabobs.
  7. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  8. To serve, drain off juice from kabobs..
  9. Broil kabobs 3 to 4 inches from the heat about 5 minutes or till edges of bacon are brown and fruit is warm.
