Hawaiian Pineapple Bars

  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 - 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 - 20 oz. can crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups coconut
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
DIRECTIONS
  1. Beat cream cheese with sugar and milk.
  2. Add vanilla, mix well.
  3. Fold in pineapple by hand.
  4. Spread mixture over cooled crust.
  5. Mix coconut and butter. Sprinkle evenly over cream cheese layer.
  6. Bake at 350F for 20 minutes.
  7. Cool completely and refrigerate before cutting and serving.
