Healthy-but-Yummy Smoothie
INGREDIENTS
- 3 TBSP ground flax seed (if using whole, simply grind in the blender first)
- 1/3 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/2 ripe banana
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 scoops of your favorite protein powder
DIRECTIONS
- Combine all ingredients into a blender, and blend until smooth.
- I find it's best to start with the fruit and juice, and add the flax seeds and protein last.
- You can substitute different kinds of frozen fruit and juice, if you like
