Heavenly Soft Sugar Cookies

  • 1 1/2 c. a/p four
  • 3/4 t. baking soda
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1/2 c.(1 stick) butter (softened)
  • 1/2 sugar (processed 10 seconds)
  • 1 Lg. egg (beaten)
  • 1 1/2 t. vanilla

  5. ½ c.(1 stick) butter (softened)
  6. ½ sugar (processed 10 seconds)
  7. 1 Lg. egg (beaten)
  8. 1 ½ t. vanilla
  9. Directions
  10. In a large bowel mix together all the dry ingredients. In a medium bowel mix together butter and sugar. Add the egg to the mixture. Slowly add the flour mixture to wet the ingredients. With floured hands divide the dough into 2 balls and roll each out with plastic wrap covering the dough. Refrigerate till its hard enough to cut pieces out. Cut out the shapes you would like and put on a greased and sugared pan. Bake at 350 for 6-10 minutes depending on the size of the cookies.
