Heavenly Soft Sugar Cookies
INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 c. a/p four
- 3/4 t. baking soda
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1/2 c.(1 stick) butter (softened)
- 1/2 sugar (processed 10 seconds)
- 1 Lg. egg (beaten)
- 1 1/2 t. vanilla

- Directions
- In a large bowel mix together all the dry ingredients. In a medium bowel mix together butter and sugar. Add the egg to the mixture. Slowly add the flour mixture to wet the ingredients. With floured hands divide the dough into 2 balls and roll each out with plastic wrap covering the dough. Refrigerate till its hard enough to cut pieces out. Cut out the shapes you would like and put on a greased and sugared pan. Bake at 350 for 6-10 minutes depending on the size of the cookies.
- This recipe started out as one i found on the internet about a year ago and after the first time i made the recipe i started tinkering with it a bit to suit the fact that i love soft cookies.
