Herbes De Provence Seasoning
  • dried thyme
  • bay leaves
  • rosemary
  • summer savory
  • lavender
  • cloves
  • orange zest
  1. Combine ONE PART EACH of the above ingredients. Mix well, and store in an airtight container, away from heat and light. If you use whole spices, place these in a cheesecloth bag, tie, and simply drop into soups and stews. Remove when the recipe is done. Also good on meats as a seasoning.
  2. Another method is to grind them up using a coffee grinder. It’s a good idea to keep a separate one for coffee and one for spices. Yield: Varies on how much herbs you use
