Holiday Eggnog Custard Pie

  • 1 pk. Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crusts
  • 1/2 cp. sugar
  • 2-1/2 cp. Eggnog
  • 4 eggs
  • Grated Nutmeg
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat oven to 425.
  2. Prepare 1 pie crust as directed on package for one-crust filled pie using 9-ince pie pan.
  3. DO NOT PRICK CRUST!
  4. Bake 425 for 7 - 9 minutes or until light golden brown. Reduce oven temperature to 350.
  5. In large bowl, combine sugar, eggnog and eggs; blend well.
  6. Pour into partially baked crust.
  7. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
  8. Bake at 350 for 30 - 40 minutes or until almost set. (Center of filling will be soft.)
  9. Cover edge of crust with strips of foil after 15 - 20 min. to prevent excessive browning.
  10. Cook 2 hours or until completely cooled.
  11. Store in refrigerator.
