Homemade Bailey's Irish Creme

  • 1 (300 ml) can Eagle Brand milk
  • 1 (500 g) carton Coffee Rich (frozen)
  • 1 1/2 tsp instant coffee
  • 2 tbsp chocolate syrup
  • 3 eggs, raw
  • 10 oz rye whiskey (1 1/3 to 2 cups)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional )
DIRECTIONS
  1. Blend eggs and rye in blender for 7 minutes; add remaining ingredients and blend well.

This is a recipe near and dear to my heart, my sister and brother in law would make this all the time before they passed away. This was a family hit at Christmas time.
