Homemade Spaghetti Os
INGREDIENTS
- 28 can Tomato Sauce
- 2 cup Water
- 2 Garlic Clove, Minced
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 Tbsp Butter
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 14 oz Anillos - Small Ringed Pasta, Or Small Stars Or Mini Alphabet
DIRECTIONS
- *Bring big pot of water to boil and add pasta; boil 10 minutes
- *Combine sauce, garlic, pepper, salt, and sugar and blend in blender or use hand blender to incorporate flavors and remove any chunks in sauce (optional)
- *Add tomato mixture with water to pot and stir; turn heat to medium and let sauce warm up
- *After pasta has boiled 10 minutes, drain and return to its original pot; add butter and stir to coat pasta
- *Slowly add pasta to tomato sauce and let simmer about 20 minutes, stirring about every 5 minutes so pasta doesn't stick
- *Give pasta a taste test and see if you need any extra seasonings or if you need to add more water, or let simmer more if too watery
- *Let everything simmer another 10 minutes after any adjustments or if everything is good, move to next step
- *Turn off heat and add milk and cheese; serve
