Honey Apple Cake

- 1 box (15-ounce) honey cornbread & muffin mix, Krusteaz®
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons yellow cornmeal, Albers®
- 1 container (21-ounce) apple pie filling or topping, Comstock More Fruit®
- 1 1/2 cups low fat granola, Kellogg’s®
- 3/4 cup honey, warmed, Sue Bee®
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Butter 9-inch-square baking pan.
- Combine cornbread mix, milk, eggs, and cornmeal in large bowl.
- Stir until just moistened; stir in apple filling.
- Transfer batter to prepared pan.
- Sprinkle granola over batter.
- Set aside for 15 minutes.
- Bake for 40 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean.
- Cool cake for 10 minutes.
- Drizzle warm honey over warm cake and serve.
