Honey-Garlic Spareribs

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 to 4 lbs. pork spareribs
  • 1/2 cup liquid honey
  • 3 tbsp. water
  • 3 tbsp. soya sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cut spareribs into serving size pieces and place in a shallow pan.
  2. Bake at 450 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes, turning once, until lightly browned.
  3. Drain fat.
  4. Meanwhile combine remaining ingredients in a small saucepan.
  5. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
  6. Pour over drained ribs and bake at 350 for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
  7. Turn ribs occasionally.
