Honey-Lemon Chicken
  • 8 pieces of chicken
  • 1 oz. lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  1. Dredge chicken pieces in seasoned flour.
  2. Use enough chicken pieces to serve as many people as you wish allowing two pieces per person.
  3. Fry chicken until golden brown then remove from pan and finish cooking in the oven at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes.
  4. In same pan as chicken was browned add lemon juice, honey, and stock.
  5. Stir and bring to a boil then reduce heat.
  6. Thicken with cornstarch and water mixture. When sauce is ready you may also add chopped lemon or lemon zest curls.
  7. Add sauce to chicken in oven and let flavours mix.
If you like this type of chicken in Chinese restaurants this is good.
