Honeybaked Chicken Wings

  • 16 chicken wings
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons crushed red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon green onion, thinly sliced
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut off the bony tips of the chicken wings. Cut each wing in half at the joint. Place in a single layer in a baking dish. In a bowl, stir together the honey, ketchup, soy sauce, oil, garlic and crushed red pepper until well blended. Pour over the chicken pieces, turning to coat. Bake for about 1 1/2 hours or until golden brown. Basting occasionally. To serve, transfer to a hot tray and garnish with thinly sliced green onion.
