How to Make Bruschetta
  • fresh italian white bread (sliced thick, toasted)
  • fresh tomatoes
  • fresh basil
  • cloves of garlic
  • 1 shallot
  • olive oil
  • green olives
  • salt & pepper
  1. Toast, then slice Italian bread into thick slices.
  2. Slice a few cloves of garlic (thin) and put into olive oil. Add salt and pepper.
  3. Tap each piece of bread onto the oil, just enough for flavor.
  4. Place on baking sheet into a pre-heated oven 350 degrees F. Just for a few minutes under broiler.
  5. Dice tomato, shallot and olives. Add a bit of olive oil, salt and pepper.
  6. Let sit for a minute or two to absorb flavors
  7. Place tomato mixture onto cooled slices of bread. Add fresh basil for garnish and flavor.
