Hungarian Goulash

  • 2 lbs hamburger
  • 14 oz can beef broth
  • pepper
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • sour cream
  • 1/3 cup cold water
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp caraway seed
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • bag of egg noodles
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup chopped onion
DIRECTIONS
  1. Brown beef in oil;
  2. Add broth, onions, peppers, ketchup, paprika, caraway seed, salt and pepper.
  3. Blend cold water and flour.
  4. Stir into beef mixture and simmer until meat is tender, approx 1 ½ hour.
  5. Add sour cream (to taste).
  6. Serve over noodles or stir them in.
