Illaree's Egg Rolls
  • 1 # ground pork
  • 5 - 6 T Soy Sauce
  • 7 green onions
  • 3 med carrots shredded
  • 2 green or red peppers chopped
  • 1 slice ginger root minced
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms
  • 1 can bean sprouts
  • Egg roll wraps
  1. Have all ingredients ready (chopped etc.). In wok, brown pork in soy sauce. Add all other ingredients except bean sprouts. When vegetables are tender crisp, add bean sprouts and continue stirring,frying for one minute.
  2. 1 T. Of pork and vegetable mixture in each egg roll wrap, fold over each edge of wrap and seal edges by dampening with a drop of water. Deep fry until golden brown.
These egg rolls are easy to make, freeze well, and are also very good and great to have on hand. Submitted by: "Ruth Ann Cole"
