Incredibly Easy Turkey Sausage Breakfast Bake

  • 1 package James Dean turkey sausage patties (about 7 oz.)
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1 1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese (separated)
  • 1 container Bisquick Shake and Pour Buttermilk Pancake Mix (5 oz.)
  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Prepare sausage patties according to the directions on the package, then cut the patties into 1/4 inch cubes. Mix sausage, potatoes and 1 cup of cheese and pour the mixture into a greased 9-inch pie plate.
  3. Mix Bisquick according to package directions and pour over cheese mixture.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Sprinkle top with remaining cheese and bake for 1-2 more minutes until the cheese is melted.
This is a Betty Crocker recipe that a friend suggested to me for Christmas breakfast. I modified it to fit the needs of my family, and it was a big hit!
