Jalapeño Poppers

- 2 T melted butter
- 1/4 cup cream cheese I use lite
- 10 jalapeños halved and cleaned of seeds and pith
- 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup bread crumbs I use Panko for crunch
- 2 T chopped parsley or cilantro
- 1/4 cup salsa
- Oven 375
DIRECTIONS
- Oven 375 degrees
- 1. Combine cheese, cream cheese, salsa, and 1/4 cup crumbs
- 2. Spoon into each pepper half. Easier to use a piping bag
- 3. Combine crumble melted butter and parsley or cilantro
- 4. Top each pepper with some crumb mix.
- 5. Bake 20 minutes until golden
