Jalapeno Cornbread

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 cups self rising cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup chopped jalapeno peppers
  • 1 small jar pimentos
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup of oil
  • 2 1/2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 small can creamed corn
  • 2 cups sharp shredded cheese
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat onion to 375. Grease a 13x9 glass pan. Mix all ingredients and pour into pan. Cook about 45 minutes or until golden brown. Test the center with a toothpick
