Jalapeno Poppers 7

  • 1 16 ounce package cheddar, jack or cream Cheese
  • 6 large jalapeno peppers, seeded and halfed, use gloves
  • 12 slices of bacon
  1. Preheat the broiler
  2. Cut cheese into 12 slices long enough to fit inside the jalapeno halves. Insert the cheese into the halves. Wrap the jalapeno halves with the bacon slices, securing with a toothpick. Place on a medium baking sheet.
  3. Broil 5 to 10 minutes, or until the back is evenly brown
No coating, no frying. Very fast to cook up & good to pop.
