Jamaica Margaritas

INGREDIENTS
  • Servings: 8
  • 1 c. dried hibiscus blossoms
  • 3 c. water
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. tequila
  • 1/2 c. fresh lime juice
  • 1/3 c. Triple Sec
DIRECTIONS
  1. Place blossoms in a strainer, rince with cold water.
  2. Combine blossoms, 3 c. water, and sugar in a medium saucepan, bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes.
  4. Strain into a bowl and discard blossoms.
  5. Cover and chill mixture.
  6. Combine hibiscus mixture, tequila, juice, and Triple Sec.
  7. Serve over ice.
