Jen's Hummus

  • 20 oz can chickpeas
  • 1/4 c meyer lemon juice
  • 1/3 c tahini
  • 1/4 c bottled water
  • dash of garlic tabasco
  • 1/2 t kosher salt
  • 1/2 t ground grains of paradise
  • olive oil for garnish
  • chopped parsley for garnish
  1. Mix all ingredients except garnish with stick blender until a smooth paste is formed.
  2. Heat in saucepan
  3. Garnish with olive oil and parsley
This hummus is from a church potluck, and it was good cold, so I knew that heated it was going to be even better - I have made small changes to it, just to make it spicier Serve with pita bread or corn chips
