Kentucky Pecan Pie

  • I uncooked pie shell
  • 1 cup white corn syrup
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/3 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 heaping cup whole pecans
  1. Combine corn syrup, brown sugar, salt, melted butter, and vanilla. Mix well. Add beaten eggs and pour into unbaked pie shell.
  2. Sprinkle pecans over all. Bake in preheated 350 degree F oven for approx. 45 minutes.
