INGREDIENTS
  • 1-8oz. cream cheese
  • ½ pound butter
  • 3 Tablespoons sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups flour
DIRECTIONS
  1. This recipe was used in our family for years upon years. Until someone gave us a variation, which I have listed at the bottom. It is softer and flakier than this recipe and we have used it ever since!
  2. 1-8oz. cream cheese
  3. ½ pound butter
  4. 3 Tablespoons sugar
  5. ¼ teaspoon salt
  6. 2 cups flour
  7. Mix all ingredients together.
  8. Roll out on powdered sugar or granulated sugar.
  9. Fill with assorted toppings/fillings.
  10. Bake at 350° for about 12 minutes.

  15. 3 Tablespoons powdered sugar
  16. 2-8oz. cream cheese
  17. 1 pound margarine
  18. Bake at 325° for 10 minutes.
