INGREDIENTS
- 1-8oz. cream cheese
- ½ pound butter
- 3 Tablespoons sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups flour
DIRECTIONS
- This recipe was used in our family for years upon years. Until someone gave us a variation, which I have listed at the bottom. It is softer and flakier than this recipe and we have used it ever since!
- 1-8oz. cream cheese
- ½ pound butter
- 3 Tablespoons sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups flour
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Roll out on powdered sugar or granulated sugar.
- Fill with assorted toppings/fillings.
- Bake at 350° for about 12 minutes.

- 4 cups flour
- 3 Tablespoons powdered sugar
- 2-8oz. cream cheese
- 1 pound margarine
- Bake at 325° for 10 minutes.
