Layered Pistachio Dessert

  • 1 1/4 cups Bisquick® baking mix
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar, packed
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup nuts, finely chopped
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup whipping cream, chilled
  • 2 3 3/4 ounce pistachio pudding and pie filling
  • 2 1/2 cold milk
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat ovoen to 375 degrees. Mix baking mix, brown sugar and butter until crumbly. Stir in nuts. Press in ungreased 13x9x2" baking dish. Bake until light brown, about 10 minutes; cool. Beat 1 cup powdered sugar and the cream cheese until smooth. Beat whipping cream in chilled bowl until stiff. Fold 1 cup of the whipped cream into cream cheese mixture; spread over baked layer. Mix pudding and milk with hand beater until thick, about 2 minutes; carefully pour over cream cheese mixture. Cover and refrigerate until firm.
