Lea's Marinara
INGREDIENTS

  • 16 oz can of whole tomatos
  • 1 whole red onion
  • 4 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 3 tbls. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. Johnny's Seasoning Salt
  • 1 tbls. garlic power
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tbls. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp parsley
DIRECTIONS
  1. heat olive oil
  2. dice onions
  3. add to heated olive oil
  4. crush garlic into sauteeing onions
  5. saute onions and garlic until onions are "see-through"
  6. add tomatoes, mash with spoon or potato masher
  7. add all seasonings
  8. simmer for 15 minutes
  9. serve over pasta, gnocci, or whatever! :)
