Lime Cabbage Salad

INGREDIENTS
- Servings: 10 to 12
- 1 large head of cabbage (chopped - 7 cups)
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 large jar of pimientos, chopped
- 2 carrots, grated
- 1/2 c. grated onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup salad oil
- Dressing:
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c.p flour
- 1 (bx) Lime Jello
DIRECTIONS
- Combine above ingredients in a large bowl.
- Mix in salt and salad oil.
- Pour over salad mixture and marinate one hour or more.
- Pour above dressing ingredients over on lime Jello. Heat enough to dissolve Jello, then cool.
- Pour over cabbage mixture and refrigerate.
- This salad will keep about a week without losing its crispness or becoming strong tasting.
