Low Calorie Barbeque Sauce
INGREDIENTS
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 4 teaspoons lemon or lime juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar packed firmly
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard (regular mustard is fine)
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
DIRECTIONS
  1. Melt butter in small saucepan; saute onion until transparent or about 5 minutes. Add rest of ingredients and mix well. Simmer uncovered for about 10 minutes. You can use this right away or refrigerate it uncovered until it cools.
