MGs Caramel Oatmeal Bars
  • 14 oz Bag Caramel (1/2 for the recipe, half to eat!!)
  • 3 Tbsp Milk
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Oatmeal
  • 1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 3/4 Cup Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 Cup Pecans, coarsely chopped
  1. Mix flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, soda and butter. Press 1/2 of this mixture in an 8X8" greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans over baked crust.
  2. Melt caramels in a sauce pan (Remember to use just 7 oz, half of the bag). Add milk and mix well. Pour over the crust. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
