MY JERKY
INGREDIENTS
- 5 lb. beef, cut into strips
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. black pepper, cracked if possible
- couple of shakes of tabasco
- 1 tbsp. liquid smoke
DIRECTIONS
- Place the strips of beef in marinade and let soak for about 24 hours. (I stir often)
- Remove from marinade allow to air dry for at least one hour.
- Place in the oven on foil at the lowest temperature and dry until beef is able to crack when bent or dry in a dehydrator.
