Malted Milk Ball Cupcakes

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 c. malted milk balls, coarsely crushed (Whoppers
  • candy)
  • 1/4 cup malted milk powder
  • 1 1/4 c. water
  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • malted milk frosting (below)
  • 1 2/3 c. malted milk balls, coarsely crushed
  1. Heat oven to 350ºF. Line 24 medium muffing cups, with paper baking cups. Mix cake mix (dry), 1 cup malted milk balls and malted milk powder. Add water, oil and eggs. Beat with electric mixer on low speed 2 minutes. Pour into muffin cups.
  2. Bake 18 to 23 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan; remove from pan. Cool completely on wire rack. Frost with malted Milk Frosting. Sprinkle with malted milk balls.
