Mama's Fried Potatoes
INGREDIENTS
- 2 lbs of peeled potatoes
- 1 onion
- Salt
- Pepper
- Season Salt
- 2 Tbsp of butter or margarine
DIRECTIONS
- Directions
- - Grease skillet with oil and preheat until oil is hot
- - Slice potatoes lengthwise (as if you were making French fries); then slice each strip widthwise into smaller chunks.
- - Chop Onion
- - Place potatoes into frying pan. Add onion, salt, pepper, and season salt
- - Reduce heat to low and cover with a lid
- - Stirring occasionally, Cook potatoes for 25 minutes, or until potatoes are soft
- - Once the potatoes are done, add the butter (or margarine)
- - Turn off the heat and cover with lid for 3 min to let butter melt

- - Grilled pork chops
- - Holiday Meals (Thanksgiving, ect)
- Optional ingredient
- - You can also add cheese on top of the butter (Fabulous)!
