Mama's Fried Potatoes

  • 2 lbs of peeled potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Season Salt
  • 2 Tbsp of butter or margarine
DIRECTIONS
  1. Directions
  2. - Grease skillet with oil and preheat until oil is hot
  3. - Slice potatoes lengthwise (as if you were making French fries); then slice each strip widthwise into smaller chunks.
  4. - Chop Onion
  5. - Place potatoes into frying pan. Add onion, salt, pepper, and season salt
  6. - Reduce heat to low and cover with a lid
  7. - Stirring occasionally, Cook potatoes for 25 minutes, or until potatoes are soft
  8. - Once the potatoes are done, add the butter (or margarine)
  9. - Turn off the heat and cover with lid for 3 min to let butter melt

  12. - Grilled pork chops
  13. - Holiday Meals (Thanksgiving, ect)
  14. Optional ingredient
  15. - You can also add cheese on top of the butter (Fabulous)!
