- ¾ Cup oatmeal
- 1 Egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 Tablespoon vinegar
- Dash of red pepper flakes
DIRECTIONS
- Prepare oatmeal according to instructions. In the meantime, boil 1 quart of water and let settle back down just below boiling point. Add vinegar. Crack 1 egg into a serving spoon and slide into water. Cook 3 minutes and remove with a slotted spoon. Move oatmeal to a serving bowl and mix in egg. Using a fork, swish egg into oatmeal and add salt, pepper and red pepper flakes to taste.
