Maple Brownies

  • 6 TBS cocoa
  • 2 TBS oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix the cocoa and oil well.
  2. Beat the sugar,butter, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Add the maple syrup and mix well.
  4. Blend in the cocoa mixture.
  5. Mix together baking powder,flour, and salt.
  6. Stir into the chocolate mixture until well mixed. Fold in the walnuts or pecans.
  7. Grease an 9x9x2-inch pan.
  8. Spread brownie mixture into the pan.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 min.
  10. Cool an dust with powdered sugar.
