Maple Glazed Apple Blondies

  • 2 c all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1.2 tsp salt
  • 1 c butter softened
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 1 c dark brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 large apples chopped
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 c maple glaze
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 c powered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
DIRECTIONS
  1. 1) preheat oven to 350, line pan with foil and spray with cooking spray
  2. 2) On medium heat cook apple filling mixture for 3-4 min, pull off heat and cool
  3. 3) cream butter, then add sugars and combine well
  4. 4) add in eggs, 1 at a time beating well, add salt and vanilla and mix
  5. 5) In separate bowl add, flour, baking powder, and cinnamon together and mix
  6. 6) In the bottom of pan add half of batter on bottom then add the apple filling on top, then top with the remaining batter
  7. 7) Bake for 25-30 min
  8. 8) add glaze mixture on top and let sit for 10 minutes
