Marinated Hemp~Shrooms!!!

  • 1 pound white button mushroom
  • 1 shallot or small sweet onion sliced small
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2-3 teaspoons chopped basil
  • About 1/8 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1/8 cup of hempseed oil
  • 1/3 cup hulled hempseed
  1. Clean and wash mushrooms
  2. Slice shallots or sweet onion
  3. Heat skillet over high heat add olive oil
  4. Add mushrooms top hot pan to darken mushrooms
  5. Add onions
  6. Add chopped fresh basil
  7. Let cook while stirring
  8. After mushrooms are colored and onions are cooked down
  9. Add about 1/8 cup rice wine vinegar around outside edge of pan
  10. Let vinegar evaporate while stirring
  11. Add few more swirls of olive oil
  12. Remove off heat and add 1/8 cup hemp oil
  13. Add 1/3 cup hemp seed
  14. And stur
  15. Eat warm and serve over your favorite pasta, or eat by itself as quick mushroom meal
  16. Best if you let mushrooms marinate a day or two and serve later
  17. The hemp seed and oil give this mushroom a nice nutty smokey flavor!
