Mexican Grilled Shrimp

  • Preparation Time: 2 1/2 hour, cleaned and Marinated
  • 1 lb of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 TBSP lime juice
  • 1 TBSP of honey
  • 1/2 tsp cilantro
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 large zip lock plastic bag for marinate
  1. peel and devein shrimp,
  2. combined all ingredients in zip lock bag
  3. marinate shrimp for 2 hours in fridge
  4. after 2 hour marinate, remove shrimp, put on metal skewers or already presoaked wood skewers,
  5. place shrimp on med-high preheated grill, cook shrimp 3-4 mins per side until white or opaque in color.
Low glycemic, but shrimp has a natural sodium count, so no salt needed.
