Microwave Carmel Corn
INGREDIENTS
  • 6 qts. of popped corn in brown paper bag (use hot air popper)
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 c. corn syrup
  • 1 tsp baking soda
DIRECTIONS
  1. 6 qts. of popped corn in brown paper bag (use hot air popper)
  2. 2 c. brown sugar
  3. 1 tsp. salt
  4. 2 sticks margarine
  5. 1/2 c. corn syrup
  6. Boil this 5 minutes and remove from heat. Add 1 teaspoon baking soda. Stir. Pour mixture over and stir in bag. Bake 3 minutes on full power, stirring frequently. Pour out on wax paper or heavy aluminum foil and crumble. Store in air-tight container.
