Mississippi Mud Cake

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 7 ounce jar marshmallow cream
  • Icing
  • 1 box confectioner's sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup milk (or enough to make it spread)
  • Melt margarine, add all ingredients. Ice cake.
DIRECTIONS
  1. Melt margarine in sauce pan, add cocoa. Stir in
  2. flour, sugar, and eggs. Add nuts and vanilla. Pour
  3. into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350° about 30
  4. minutes. Do not overbake. While hot, pour
  5. marshmallow cream on top.
