Mississippi Mud Cake
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 4 eggs
- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 7 ounce jar marshmallow cream
- Icing
- 1 box confectioner's sugar
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup milk (or enough to make it spread)
- Melt margarine, add all ingredients. Ice cake.
DIRECTIONS
- Melt margarine in sauce pan, add cocoa. Stir in
- flour, sugar, and eggs. Add nuts and vanilla. Pour
- into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350° about 30
- minutes. Do not overbake. While hot, pour
- marshmallow cream on top.
